Atrial fibrillation (Afib) is a kind of abnormal heartbeat or heart arrhythmia. It occurs when the heart’s upper chambers fibrillate or twitch instead of pumping normally. In people with atrial fibrillation, the heartbeat may be fast but not regular. It stems from a problem with the electrical pathways controlling the heart rhythm.

All three of them succumbed to cardiac complications.
